About Me...
Children, I have always loved children and have loved photographing them, they are a mix of emotions, and I try to capture that when I am photographing them. I am all about their little personalities, their stubbornness, their joy, even their grumpiness. Let’s be honest, what two-year old really wants to sit still and pose for photos? I have had years of experience with children from coaching three year olds in gymnastics, to taking care of infants and children for years. I understand their idiosyncrasies and that is fine with me! When I’m photographing children, I wait patiently for that perfect moment of pure joy or when they are busy just being themselves.
Families, I love working with different families, watching them interact with each other. I think it is a blast and an unbelievable blessing to be invited by the families I am photographing to produce personal, unique images that are ultimately keepsakes for them.
Seniors, my approach to senior photography is capturing who they are as an individual. I want the senior to express who they are through their photo, whether that means going on location or taking a traditional photograph. There are no limits!
A photography session with me will be relaxed. No waiting in line, no one waiting in line behind you. Come, chill and let’s have fun! In your home, my studio or on location, it’s your time so why not enjoy the experience?
More about Donna...
Donna is grateful that she can do what she loves, and gives God all of the credit for her talent and ability. His unconditional love, grace and mercy throughout her life allowed her to pursue a calling to photography with all of her heart. She is a wife and a mother first, and along with her family’s love and support she connects with her clients to give them her very best.
On a more serious note, Donna does photography for an international organization called “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep” www.nowilaymedowntosleep.com It is a non-profit organization that exists to assist families suffering an early infant loss. Volunteer Professional Photographers from the group are called by the participating hospitals at the request of family to come and photograph these tiny angels at no cost to the families.
Donna is also involved with the Legacy of Love Foundation Inc. a non-profit Christian Ministry whose purpose is to perpetually support, assist and be an advocate for families who have suffered the loss of an infant, promote awareness of the issues faced by families who experience pregnancy and infant loss and provide resources to aid positive grief resolution. Donna provides free maternity or infant photography as part of the “Celebration and Hope” kits as a gift to the families who have had a subsequent birth.
